Due to the perilous state of the UK residential property sector rendering the industry uncertain about its prospects for the coming year, the organisers have decided that Agency Expo is to ‘take a holiday’ for 2009. The event will next take place on 7th- 8th October 2010 at London’s Business Design Centre.

Against this painful backdrop VCM Events, organiser of Agency Expo, discussed a proposed ‘event holiday’ with a number of customers. Whilst they reaffirmed their desire to support the annual event, it was generally felt this was the best way forward and that a year off would benefit all.

Mike Lees of Transcribe Thames Group said: “This is a good idea. Everyone we speak with cannot see a quick fix. A holiday will enable us all to look more positively to the return of Agency Expo in 2010” adding, “where we remain fully committed to both the event and to the property sector.”
